Suits and Seperates
Dongguan, China
People like to ask me how the life is in China. it's very hard to answer, simply because China is a large country and i don't want to generalize. In some way mystery or uncertainty seem scary, If it's Shanghai i am living at, people would probably have a better picture of how it looks like. Well, days in dongguan are never easy, especially comparing to Shenzhen. We spend most of time at work or somewhere between our home, office and factory. In Dongguan, i am pretty confident to say the best coffee is made by Sean at our open kitchen. (i know he is reading with smile! ok, i admit i enjoy your coffee very much...) Most of things here are not quite certain but that is also the fun part of life, isn't it?
It's troublesome and a bit risky to order 'foreign' product online, partly because most of local postman can not read english nor would be willing to call from the number on package..., and is almost impossible to receive it without incredibly-high import tax charge. How lucky (or speculative) i was to try to order this stiffened wood hat from Lack of Color! Sean and I drove to each postal station by each postal station and aim on a giant box with Lack of color logo from the day we expected it arriving the local postal station. After almost 3 days of search, we finally found it! and obviously it has been there for a couple days that no one wanted to do anything about it... on the other hand, we know where our lack of color could be for next order...
